Why repair old church stained glass window panels? Usually, the stained glass windows have special meaning to the church, and are an integral part of their church history. Our current repair job is one in which the church stained glass panels were installed in 1946 by Frank's father. This is 4 years before Frank was even born. What we did was make repairs to the church stained glass windows by releading lead failures, replacing broken glass, adding new inscription plates where they were needed, remaking the frames in PVC and then adding tempered glass as protection.
